She will encourage you to identify your core values and use them as a guide toward taking meaningful action. Taryn prioritizes warmth, genuineness, and compassion in the development of lasting personal change.
We all encounter challenges throughout life which can leave us feeling trapped and weighed down. Taryn is passionate about empowering clients to move through challenges, discover new insights, and embrace inner strengths. She is committed to walking with clients in their journeys of healing, self-discovery, and personal growth. Taryn strives to create an open and empathic space where clients can feel understood and supported. She believes that therapy is an opportunity for each individual to learn about themselves, find purpose, and take steps toward living an authentic life.
Taryn received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Roosevelt University. She also received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
When she’s not in sessions, Taryn enjoys taking fitness classes, running, and dining out with friends. She believes laughter is a key part of self-care and cherishes time spent with her loved ones. To unwind, she loves a warm cup of coffee, listening to music, and practicing mindfulness.
