Starting the process of self-discovery and healing can be overwhelming. However, unlocking our inner selves and living from a place of true wholeness can be liberating and empowering.
Michelle works with individuals who may be struggling with a variety of issues such as self-esteem and identity, relationship/relational issues, C/PTSD and trauma. With couples, she helps to identify needs and desires, grow communication and understanding, and strengthen and align values.
Through a psychodynamic and attachment-based approach, Michelle examines the past and the unconscious to understand how present behaviors may be affecting daily life. As a client, this might mean exploring memories from childhood or uncovering traumas and emotions that have been stored away. She recognizes how vulnerable and scary this can be but wants clients to know that she will provide a safe, comfortable, and supportive space to express themselves! Michelle truly believes that anyone is capable of healing and feels it is her honor to guide clients in this process. She strives to be a feminist, queer-friendly, anti-racist therapist, who recognizes each client’s unique identity and experience and will honor that with dignity and respect.
